Merida Toala

  Hello everyone! This is my website, I had so much fun working on this project because it goes hand in hand with what I want to pursue. I think that my website design and navigation system is effective because I incorporated very minimalist elements, but not too basic to where the audience's attention is out of reach. I tried to add accent colors that would aesthetically please the background and other content, I did this so the navigation bar was easier to access. I went a with simplistic modern aesthetic because that represents me and supports the "crispy and clean" look I tend to go for. I am so glad I was able to do this for this assignment because now I have a website that will continuously be developed for my personal graphic design journey. I cannot wait to emerge everything I learned from this course onto my platform. Thank you!

Concept #1  For this concept, I wanted the home page and header to be the center of attention, so I focused on those two elements and re-designed the other elements around those two, but keeping the main watch there. I think this concept would be effective because the home page can provide easy navigation for the audience and a good introduction to the brand's aesthetic at first sight.  Concept #2 For this concept, I wanted the main focus to be the original header to have a more minimalistic aesthetic. I believe this concept and these designs could be effective because navigating the website will be easy to identify due to the minimalism.   Concept # 3 For this concept, I allowed for each element, the about page, the home page, the contact page, and the portfolio page to be the first page in one sketch to analyze and design the navigation system.
